Princeton, located midway between New York and Philadelphia, is one of the most historic towns in New Jersey and in the United States. It was once the nation's capital; the second Continental Congress met here in Nassau Hall from June to November 1783. It is home to Princeton University, the fourth oldest university in the country. Princeton and its surrounding communities are not only rich in history and cultural heritage but are also active, vibrant and growing. The area hosts a number of the largest and most prestigious corporations in the world including Dow Jones, Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Meyers Squibb and the Sarnoff Research Corporation.
